Annual
Health Check and Vaccination
The health check is probably
the most valuable thing you can do for your dog
Our pets age so much faster than we do and therefore
an annual physical examination is a very important
part of our pets' preventive health plan. It gives
us an opportunity to prod and poke, look and listen,
and to discuss any changes noted and concerns you
may have.
Booster vaccinations will ensure your dog is protected
against the following infectious diseases: Canine
Parvo virus, Distemper virus, Hepatitis virus, Parainfluenza
virus and Leptospirosis.
Parasite
control.
Our aim is to keep your canine family member parasite

the best products available and will help you choose
the combination most suited to your dogs's lifestyle
whether she's a classy town girl, used to the finer
things in life, or a bit of a rough and tumble boy,
who likes to get dirty and doesn't mind a bit of smelly
old rabbit if he can get his way!
External
Parasites.
Fleas are by far the most common problem especially
if you share your home with a cat and prevention is
much easier than a cure! Topical preparation or a
monthly tablet; you decide. Ticks
and fox mange can be a problem, depending on where
you walk.
Worming.
Tablets or topical preparations are available.
Feeding.

Choosing
the correct food for one's dog can sometimes be a
challenge for owners. We all like to indulge them
but sometimes even when our intentions are good we
may be doing harm. Obesity, dental disease and poorly
formed faeces are problems we see every day in practice.
We stock a range of the very best life stage and prescription
foods available and dogs on our health plan will qualify
for a 10% reduction on the purchase price of all Hill's
and Royal Canin foods.
If you're
tempted but concerned your dog won't take to its new
food why not try it first. Both Royal Canin and Hill's
food has a money back gaurantee which means you won't
be out of pocket if your dog won't settle on its new
food.
Convenience.
We'll do the paper work. You just call in and collect
your supplies as needed, and of course, bring your
dog along when it needs to be seen!
