Carrie Cross, one of the vets, has completed a training course and is now a member of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists. (See www.abva.co.uk for more information). Acupuncture is especially useful for painful conditions such as arthritis or back problems. It is also helpful for conditions such as cystitis and lick granulomas (areas dogs habitually lick) or any other painful condition. Typical treatment would involve weekly sessions for four weeks then as required.
